One Afternoon

The weekends bring afternoons of laziness. Even though I don’t care for the months during daylight savings, I enjoy how the light peeks through the windows early, bringing a glow to everything it hits. While the dogs enjoy sunbathing, I get to sit back with a smoothie or cup of tea, a good book and a light blanket. It’s the perfect beginning to a fun night with friends and family.
